We are proud to share that Castle Gillian: An Irish Tale has received international recognition for its groundbreaking blend of theatre, music, film and immersive 360º technology. The production was awarded Best 360º Film and Best Musical Film at the Cannes World Film Festival, and was also nominated for Best Soundtrack. This is a wonderful acknowledgement of the creativity, craft and ambition behind this world-first virtual reality musical.

It is still relatively uncommon for film festivals to have award categories for feature-length Virtual Reality (VR) and 360˚ films.  We have, therefore, been thrilled to have had Castle Gillian:An Irish Tale recognised by these prestigious film festivals from around the world.
