This Privacy Policy explains how Quill & Quaver Associates LLC collects information about you online, and how we use and disclose that information. It also specifies the choices we and others offer you with respect to that information.
This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the Castle Gillian service, regardless of how you access or use the service. 1. Information Quill & Quaver Associates LLC Collects:
(a) We collect information about you, about the ways you use the Castle Gillian service and about the ways you interact with its content.
(b) When you register for, and/or agree to pay for the Castle Gillian service, we collect your name, email address, credit card information, billing address, ZIP code and other information.
(c) We retain messages you send through the Contact form on the Castle Gillian website site.
Credit Card Information:
(d) We outsource the processing of credit card information to a service provider. Other than the last four digits of your credit card, we do not store other cardholder data. However, the payment processing service provider does store this information.
(e) The processing of payments is subject to the terms, conditions and privacy policies of the payment processing service provider. Quill & Quaver Associates is not responsible for errors made by the payment processor.
Information Quill & Quaver Associates LLC Collects Automatically.
Log Data File Information.
(f) When you log on to the Castle Gillian service, we may access information through 3rd part analytics such as your IP address, the characteristics of your web browser, your Internet service provider, date/time stamps, information about the computer or mobile device you use to access the Castle Gillian service and related service web pages you view.
Usage Tracking Data.
(g) We may analyse information when you use the Castle Gillian service. Examples of this information include the names of videos you watch (associated with an IP address, your name, or email address) and number of clicks. We use “cookies” and “device identifiers” (see below) to help collect this information.
Analytics Information.
(h) We directly measure or use analytics tools such as Google Analytics to help us measure traffic and usage trends and analyse how people use the Castle Gillian service. We may compile statistics on Castle Gillian activity. Analytics information is stored in an aggregated form in avoidance of identifying any particular user.
Sensitive Data.
(i) To the extent any of the categories of information we collect are sensitive categories of information under applicable law, we process such information only for the limited purposes permitted by applicable law. We do not sell or use sensitive categories of information for purposes of targeted advertising.
2. How Quill & Quaver Associates LLC Uses Information:

Compliance.
(a) Quill & Quaver Associates LLC uses the information it collects, including video viewing information, to enforce its Terms of Use; to prevent, detect and investigate potentially prohibited, illegal or fraudulent activities; and to otherwise protect the rights of Quill & Quaver Associates LLC, its service providers, business partners and users.
Aggregated Information.
(b) In addition to the individual data uses described in this Privacy Policy, Quill & Quaver Associates LLC may aggregate or de-identify information about you and other individuals together, or otherwise “de-identify” the information about you. Quill & Quaver Associates LLC may use aggregated, de-identified information for any legitimate business purpose, including for research and analysis, administration of the Castle Gillian service and promotional purposes.
(c) Quill & Quaver Associates LLC uses the information it collects to operate and manage the Castle Gillian service including, to perform the services requested by you such as responding to your questions and requests, and to provide customer service.

3. How Quill & Quaver Associates LLC Discloses Your Information:
Information Disclosed To Service Providers.
(a) Quill & Quaver Associates LLC relies on service providers to keep all Castle Gillian websites functioning. For example, we may engage service providers to provide communications, infrastructure and IT services; to personalize and optimize the Castle Gillian service to process credit card transactions or other payment tools; to provide customer service and to analyse and enhance data (including data about users’ interactions with the Castle Gillian service). Those service providers will be given limited access to your information as is reasonably necessary. Information Disclosed To Business Partners.
(b) Audience Measurements. Our business partners, such as theatre producers and theatre centre organisations who have an interest in the popularity of the Castle Gillian service as a whole. Accordingly, Quill & Quaver Associates LLC may disclose with other parties your viewing history on the Castle Gillian service in calculating audience measurement statistics.
Joint Promotions.
(c) Quill & Quaver Associates LLC may offer joint promotions or programs that, in order for you to be able to participate, will require us to disclose your information to other parties, including for administrative purposes and as required by law (i.e., “Thank you for subscribing”). Please note that these other parties are responsible for their own privacy practices. By entering into a promotion, you agree to the official rules that govern that promotion as specified by the participating theatre offering the Castle Gillian service.
Information Disclosed for Advertising and Analytics.
(d) We disclose information for analytics related purposes to theatres and theatre centre organisations. The receiving entities act as conduits to our Castle Gillian service, or, in certain contexts, independently decide how to process information. Information Quill & Quaver Associates LLC is Required to Disclose by Law.
(d) Quill & Quaver Associates LLC will disclose your information when required to do so by law or subpoena, or if Quill & Quaver Associates LLC reasonably believes that such action is necessary to: (i)) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or government request; (ii) enforce our Terms of Use, including the investigation of potential violations thereof; (iii) detect, prevent, or otherwise address illegal or suspected illegal activities (such as payment fraud); (iv) address security or technical issues; and/or (v) exercise or protect the rights, property or safety of Quill & Quaver Associates LLC, its Castle Gillian service and its users.
Change of Control.
(e) If all or part of Quill & Quaver Associates LLC is sold, merged, reorganized, restructured or transferred, Quill & Quaver Associates LLC may transfer any and all information in its possession, including personal information, to one or more parties as part of any such transaction, including as part of the due diligence process.
Facilitating Requests or Notice and Consent.
(f) Quill & Quaver Associates LLC discloses information at your request or direction, or with notice to you and your consent. Please note that when you interact with other parties, including when you leave the Castle Gillian service and/or content, those parties may independently collect information about you and solicit information from you. 4. How Quill & Quaver Associates LLC Stores and Protects Your Information:
(g) To protect your privacy and security, Quill & Quaver Associates LLC takes reasonable administrative, logistical, physical and managerial steps (such as requesting a unique account password) designed to safeguard your information against loss, theft and unauthorized access. Nevertheless, transmissions via the Internet and online digital storage are never completely secure, which means that Quill & Quaver Associates LLC cannot guarantee the safety of your information.
(h) In the event that any information under the control of Quill & Quaver Associates LLC is compromised as a result of a breach of security, Quill & Quaver Associates LLC will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and, where required by law, promptly notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised and take other steps in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations.
5. Your Choices About Your Information:
Region-Specific Rights.

Opting Out of Cookies.
(b) Most commercial browsers include a mechanism for removing or disabling most cookies. Please note that commercial browsers may not effectively block Flash cookies (also known as locally shared objects), HTML5 cookies or other tracking technologies. Also, please note that disabling or removing these technologies may impede the proper operation of the Castle Gillian service, and that your ability to limit browser-based tracking technology when you revisit the site after disabling or removing these technologies is subject to your browser settings and capabilities.
Advertising Data Collection Choices.
(c) Through the settings on most mobile devices you can select “Limit Ad Tracking” (for iOS devices) or “Opt out of Interest-Based Ads” (for Android devices) which will allow you to limit the use of information collected from or about your mobile device for the purpose of presenting you with online behavioural advertising.
Opting Out of Web Beacons.
(d) Most commercial email clients include a mechanism for preventing web beacons from downloading automatically when an email is opened. Please refer to your email clients’ technical information for instructions on how to disable web beacons. In addition, there are several browser add-ins that enable you to block web beacons from downloading automatically when you surf the web.
Opting Out of Notifications from Quill & Quaver Associates LLC.
Site-Related Notices.
(e) Quill & Quaver Associates LLC may use your information to send site-related notices (i.e.., account verification, purchase and billing confirmations, technical and security notices) to your email address. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Privacy Policy, you may not opt out of receiving site-related messages.
Do Not Track.
(f) Your browser settings may allow you to automatically transmit a “Do Not Track” signal to online services. Except as required by law, we do not respond to preference signals. 6. Security and Account Access:
You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your unique Castle Gillian service password and account information and for controlling access to your email and mobile device communications from Quill & Quaver Associates LLC at all times. We recommend a password that contains alphanumeric characters and keyboard symbols (i.e., $, #, * etc.). (b) Quill & Quaver Associates LLC does not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information as defined in the U.S. Children’s Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) in a manner that is not permitted by COPPA, and for any children’s or mixed-use portions of the service (if any) Quill & Quaver Associates LLC will comply with COPPA. 12. Applicable Law.
(a) Nevada Law. Nevada law (NRS 603A.340) requires each business to establish a designated request address where Nevada consumers may submit requests directing the business not to sell certain kinds of personal information that the business has collected or will collect about the consumer. A sale under Nevada law is the exchange of personal information for monetary consideration by the business to a third party for the third party to license or sell the personal information to other third parties. (b) The following additional disclosures apply only to California residents.
California Consumer Privacy Act. The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 as replaced by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”) provides additional rights to know, delete and opt-out, and requires businesses collecting or disclosing personal information to provide notices and means to exercise those rights.
Notice of Collection. In the forthcoming twelve months, we may collect the following categories of personal information enumerated in the CPRA:
● Identifiers, including name, postal address, email address, and online identifiers (such as IP address).
● Customer records, including phone number, billing address, and credit or debit card information.
● Commercial or transactions information, including records of Quill & Quaver Associates LLC products or services purchased, obtained, or considered.
● Internet activity, including browsing history, search history, and interactions with our websites, emails, applications, or advertisements.
● Non-precise Geolocation data.
Quill & Quaver Associates LLC not sell information it acquires through the registration process. However, we may provide to each participating 501 (c)(3) IRS approved, non-profit theatre, the following categories of personal information for commercial purposes: identifiers, commercial transaction information, Internet activity and non-specific geolocation data. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of minors under 16 years of age who are California residents.
Some of the personal information we collect may be considered sensitive personal information under the CPRA. For example, account data. We collect, use, and disclose such sensitive personal information only for the permissible business purposes for sensitive personal information under the CPRA or without the purpose of inferring characteristics about consumers. We do not intentionally acquire, sell or share sensitive personal information.
Right to Know, Correct, and Delete.
(a) You have the right to know certain details about our data practices. In particular, you may request the following from us:
● The categories of personal information we have collected about you;
● The categories of sources from which the personal information was collected;
● The categories of personal information about you we disclosed for a business purpose shared;
● The categories of third parties to whom the personal information was disclosed for a business purpose shared;
● The business or commercial purpose for collecting or sharing the personal information; and
● The specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.

If we are unable to verify your identity, we may deny your requests to know, correct, and delete.
Right to Opt-Out.
(b) To the extent Quill & Quaver Associates LLC shares your personal information as the term “share” is defined under the CPRA, you have the right to opt-out of the Share My Personal Information link on the participating theatres website through which you registered for the Castle Gillian service should it offer this option. You cannot opt out of Share My Personal Information from any Castle Gillian service website as Quill & Quaver Associates LLC does not keep Personal Information other than in its agreement with participating theatres offering the Castle Gillian service to provide details of registration and associated financial transaction information it contracts to provide. In addition, you may exercise this right by turning on a recognized opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control (https:// globalprivacycontrol.org/) in your browser or extension.
When you submit an opt-out, your opt-out will only apply to shares of personal information through tracking technologies from the specific browser from which you submitted the opt-out because the connection between your browser identifiers and other personal information we have about you is not known to us.
Authorized Agent.
(c) You can designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. Requests must be submitted through the designated methods listed above. However, we will require written proof of the agent’s permission to do so and verify your identity directly.
Right to Non-Discrimination.
(d) You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment by us for the exercise of any of your rights.
Retention.
(e) We retain each category of personal information for the length of time that is reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
Shine the Light.
(f) If you are a California resident, under the so-called “Shine The Light” law you may be entitled to request certain information regarding our disclosure, if any, of personal information (such as your name and contact information) to third parties who wish to contact you or send you promotional information about their products and services directly but not in relation to when the third party is acting on our behalf.
Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Virginia law.
(g) These additional rights and disclosures apply only to residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Virginia. Terms have the meaning ascribed to them in the Colorado Privacy Act (“CPA”), the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (“CTDPA”), the Utah Consumer Privacy Act (“UCPA”), and the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (“VCDPA”), as applicable.

International law.
(h) Quill & Quaver Associates LLC is a United States is a limited liability company. If you are located outside the United States and provide personal information to Quill & Quaver Associates LLC transfers personal information to the United States and other countries for processing. The United States may not have the same data protection laws as the country in which you initially provided the personal information. When you transfer your information to the United States, Quill & Quaver Associates LLC will protect that information as described in this Privacy Policy.
